Discover the enjoyment of visiting the hidden wonders of Alabama's rich natural and cultural heritage. Museum naturalists guide participants to some of the most interesting and scenic places in our state. The field trips are designed for students, adults, families and children ages 10 and older. The museum furnishes transportation and most equipment. All trips are lead by experienced, naturalist guides and are fun and informative. Teachers can earn up to 8 professional development hours for each session. For armchair explorers, watch the museum's nature series, Discovering Alabama, on Public Television.
